Refund policy
How we handle refunds, returns, and payment disputes. Last updated September 4, 2026. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method when the processor still allows it.
Software and keys
Digital goods are delivered as a download, a license key, or both after payment clears. A key that we issue and lock to your PC is delivered. Because a file or key can be used as soon as you have it:
- If the download never worked and we cannot get you a working copy in a reasonable time, you get a full refund.
- If you bought the wrong title and have not downloaded it, contact Support within 48 hours. We will try to swap or refund.
- If the file downloaded successfully, or a Solvers key was issued for your order, refunds are at our discretion. Change of mind after a working install or an issued key is usually declined.
- Duplicate charges for the same product are refunded once we confirm them.
Physical goods
Unused items in original condition can be returned within 14 days of delivery, unless the product is marked final sale.
- Start the return from Support with your order email and product name.
- You cover return shipping unless we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged.
- Refunds go out after we inspect the return.
- Damaged-in-transit claims need photos of the parcel and product within 7 days of delivery.
How to ask
Use the Support page. Include the email you paid with, the product name, and whether it was software or physical. Do not send card numbers. You agree to contact us first and give us a fair chance to fix a real problem before you open a bank or card dispute.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
Checkout is your agreement that you are buying digital licenses and/or physical goods under this policy. If you received what you paid for — a working download, an issued key, or a shipped item — a chargeback for “I changed my mind,” “I did not recognize the name,” or “I did not get it” after you already used the product is an improper dispute.
We keep checkout records, emails, fulfillment logs, and these posted terms. If you file a chargeback after delivery, we send that package to the processor and fight the claim as a fulfilled sale. Card networks still make the last call on a dispute. A website policy cannot force your bank to close a case without looking. What it does is put you on notice, in writing, before you pay: digital delivery counts as delivery, Support is the first door, and we will contest chargebacks that ignore this page.
Opening a dispute while we are already refunding or replacing an order can stall both. Fraudulent disputes can mean we decline future sales, revoke keys, and add your details to fraud tools the processor provides.
What we cannot refund
- Hardware that cannot run a clearly labeled Windows requirement.
- Bank or processor fees we never received.
- Items you damaged, customized, or threw away.
- Orders we already fully refunded.
- Issued keys or successful downloads after you simply decided you did not want the product.
Timing
Approved refunds usually show as pending within a few business days; your bank can take longer. A new download for a paid title is usually faster than money moving backwards.
