DETAILS

Solo Miner is not like Crypto Miner. Crypto Miner talks to a pool and turns your work into small, regular shares. Solo Miner does not do that. Your PC races the whole network by itself. You keep a full block only if your machine is the one that finds it. Until then you earn nothing — not a drip, not a daily payout.

That is a lottery, not a job. Each hash is a ticket against every other miner on that coin. On most networks a home PC is a tiny slice of total power, so the expected wait is enormous and a lot of people never cash a ticket. Do not buy this thinking a block is around the corner. Do not budget like it will hit.

What it is for: pointing a Windows PC at most computer-minable coins (CPU and GPU coins, not ASIC-only giants) and taking the all-or-nothing bet — full subsidy and fees if you ever win, zero if you do not. You still need a wallet and a node or stratum you trust. Windows-only.

Features

  • Not pool mining — no share drip, no steady income
  • A lottery: full block if you win the race, nothing if you do not
  • Do not count on a hit. Most home PCs never find a block on a busy chain
  • Works with most CPU and GPU minable coins you point it at

How solo mining actually works

Proof-of-work coins pick the next block by a race. Your chance is your hashrate divided by the whole network. Pools bundle thousands of machines and split the prize so you get small payments often. Solo skips the pool. You take the whole prize or you take zero. Same long-run math as pooling, minus pool fees — but the variance is a lottery, not a wage. Electricity still burns while you wait.

When not to buy it

If you want something that looks like mining income, buy Crypto Miner and use a pool. Solo Miner is for people who understand they are buying a ticket, not a paycheck.
